作家、译者光哲与btr做客影厅，畅聊《观看之道》对他们的触发，解读何为说故事的人，诉说散文电影里的伯格肖像，共同回忆这位「彪悍的」跨文体写作者。

Q：请问对《昆西四季》的总体印象如何？
btr：我是2017年上海国际电影节看的这部纪录片，它的英文片名叫“Four Portraits of John Berger”，影片通过昆西的四季变化（冬、春、夏、秋）来展现约翰·伯格的肖像
片子是关于John Berger的(《观看之道》的作者)。看完之后，忽然想起了西方式的知识分子的感觉，大家会坐在一起认真讨论“现代性”，人们在当代失去了什么。他用一字一顿的方式用语言描述着他想要描述之物，开始我会觉得这是“理性”的（而摒弃了感性的觉知），但看到后面，觉得他是在用一种传统的“英国式”的笨拙的理性方式在达致他认知的深处。那种欧洲式的相互尊重，讨论的感觉真好啊。
最后一幕是他教一个来自英国城市的女孩骑摩托车，女孩依然带着某种腔调，尽管她对学机车这一经历显得很期待
