ok ,i 'll give a try
if you wanna sing out, sing out.
if you wanna be free, be free.
there's million things to be.
you know that there are.
if you wanna live high, live high.
if you wanna livw low, livw low.
there are million ways to go.
you know that there are.
you can do what you want.
the opportunity is on.
if you find a new way, new way.
you can do it today.
you can make it all true.
and you can make it undo.
you see ,you only need to know.
if you wanna say yes, say yes.
if you wanna say no, say no.
there are million ways to go.
you know that there are.
I honestly think this is a great movie. Not the kind of traditional fun American teen movie, but it is more meaningful. Born in problematic families, teenagers will also be more vulnerable to psychological problems. It is great that Charlie overcomes his own problem and tries to help others. It’s a pity at first the principal did not understand him and view him as a bad kid. Luckily, the principal finally understood him! A happy ending!
I enjoyed the film---it was quite offbeat and Charlie's character was pretty engaging and delightful---it was refreshing to see a rich kid that wasn't portrayed as a snobbish know-it-all, who was actually kind of sweet & eccentric (and a little manipulative when he had to be.). The thing with Charlie, I think, is that he simply wanted to be popular, and he also had some issues with his father not being around. In fact he says at one point in the film that he didn't know where he fit in anywhere, so that's why he did the things he did (however, I believe that if he was anyone but a rich white boy, there's no way in hell he would have gotten away with doing what he did---slanging drugs in the school bathroom, I mean).
I also thought it was hilarious how he appointed himself the school's unofficial shrink (that was touching and funny at the same time).
Would you like to talk about it?
