这部片子不得不说是全世界最顶尖的物理学家与最顶尖的纪录片团体合作起来制作的科普宣传片，无论是学文科学理科的，还是学其他，经济学类心理学，思维科学类的知识，我们都可以欣赏它，因为墙的公式谁都看不懂，具体希格斯波色子是什么东西也没有人知道，我们也不可能去了解的，因为这需要长年累月的物理学基础，大部分人99%的人都没有这个基础。
为了看部电影，我们没有必要提前花上一年的时间去了解一下粒子物理。即使花上一年，也是不可能弄懂的。
“星空中，群星灿烂，那听不见的乐曲充满整个宇宙”这是刘慈欣在他的短篇小说微观尽头中的一句话。小说里的物理学家和影片中的物理学家一样面对着未知的恐惧。他们不知道粒子撞击后会发生什么，有可能实验的数据会推翻之前人类所有的物理定律，有可能人类对这个世界的基础认知全部崩塌，甚至有可能毁灭了整个世界。这是一场用全体人类的未来做赌注来和上帝赌博的一场游戏。但是最后我们赢了，他们证明了超统一理论中的变量，而我们找到了希格斯粒子。
有几个在影片中让我感到影响深刻，甚至有点恐怖的点。
2012年，在原子核物理课上，代课的老师说了一段话：“我觉得Higgs是不可能找到的，因为从来没有过基本标量粒子。现在找到的标量介子都不是基本粒子。“
同年7月份，我坐在电脑前，看了CERN找到Higgs的发布会。
科研的信念就是这么神奇。几十年的寻找都不曾有结果，人们纷纷放弃的时候，它突然就出现了。
Particle Fever这个电影，更多的是从ATLAS实验的角度讲了Higgs的发现之旅，不过它的兄弟实验CMS同样有着非常精彩的故事。
粒子物理是一个需要大量理论背景才能搞懂的东西

Many moving moments: when the scientists talked about why they chose physics as their career, it is all very philosophical. In their different ways, they all want to grasp something concrete in order to understand the universe, the eternity.
The two grey haired theoretical physicists discussing the possibility of the outcome of LHC experiment could prove the theory they had worked on all their career wrong. As an audience, you can clearly see, to them, how devastating this could be. At the end of the discussion, however, they agreed, the truth is the most important thing.
